March 14, Barb B and Gary's dance troupe, SalsaLinea, will be performing at the Kennedy Center. The show is free and will include Salsa, Rueda, and a number of other ballroom dances. If you're available, show up and show your support!
Side thought: it's really tough to watch yourself in a video--ick! *g*

I am very computer challenged, and didn't see how I could look at the video. I'll ask someone when I get a chance. Or if it is simple to describe, you can try to give me guidance over the web. But I am glad you enjoyed our demo in June and it is always fun to dance with another rueda enthusiast!

I stumbled upon your blog by accident. I used to do some rueda dancing in DC and I would love to see your clip of Salsa Linea, but I couldn't get your link to work.

I posted that way, way back in 2002! Wow, that's not quite four years ago. Unfortunately, I had to take the link down. There is another link to the Kennedy Center somehwere around here that has the same group dancing (with some additions). At the bottom of the homepage there are also links to some moves our SF group did in 2004 (I can't believe it's two years ago!). I also have some video coming up of dancing we did in Cuba, hold on for those, I'm really slow at working on my own site.
BTW, have we ever met? I used to dance quite often in DC and Maryland.
